This Privacy Policy explains how we, Eirene Wellness Innovations LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), collect, use, share, or otherwise process information that we collect through our services. These services include our website, mobile application, social media pages, marketing activities, and other activities described in this Privacy Policy.
We collect personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and safeguard it in accordance with applicable law.
B. Personal Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Account profile data such as your name, email address, and account credentials.
- Communications, feedback, and survey data when you contact us for support.
- Marketing data and preferences for receiving our communications.
- Purchase and subscription status, such as product purchased, subscription state, trial status, renewal status, and limited payment metadata from Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or similar providers. We do not see or store your full payment card information.
Automatic data collection
- Device information such as IP addresses, device type, app version, operating system, and unique identifiers.
- Limited advertising, attribution, and device identifiers, including IDFA where permitted by your device settings and applicable law.
- Usage information about how you use our Services.
- Information stored locally on your device.
- Communication interaction data from emails and other communications.
- Push notification tokens and notification permission status if you choose to enable push notifications.

D. How We Share Your Personal Information
Eirene Wellness Innovations LLC does not sell your personal information.
We do not share the content of your chats, journal entries, prayers, reflections, grief disclosures, faith disclosures, or mental-health disclosures with advertising or marketing platforms.
Service providers and marketing attribution partners
To operate Eirene, we share information with service providers and limited marketing attribution partners who process or receive it on our behalf. These include:
- Cloud hosting, data storage, and authentication (currently Google Cloud / Firebase) securely stores your account, chats, journal entries, and related content, and verifies your identity when you sign in. If you use Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, those identity providers may share your name and email with us to create your account; they do not receive your chats or in-app content through the sign-in process.
- App distribution, updates, and infrastructure (currently Expo and Expo Application Services) helps us build, distribute, update, and maintain the mobile app. Expo may process limited technical data such as app version, device operating system, update status, and randomized update identifiers needed to deliver app updates. Expo does not receive your chat, journal, prayer, reflection, grief, faith, or mental-health content from us for these services.
- Push notification infrastructure (currently Expo and Apple Push Notification service where enabled) processes push notification tokens, notification permission status, and limited delivery metadata when you choose to enable notifications. Push tokens are used to deliver notifications and are not shared with advertising platforms by us.
- Generative AI providers (currently OpenAI; may also include Anthropic in the future) process the text of your chats and journal entries to generate Eirene's responses, scripture recommendations, and reflections. Your content is not used to train these providers' public AI models.
- AI quality, safety, and debugging tools (currently LangSmith by LangChain) may process AI interaction content, including chat messages, journal or reflection content, related metadata, your account identifier, and your display name. They process this information on our behalf and are not permitted to sell it or use it for their own independent purposes.
- Subscription and payment processing (currently RevenueCat, alongside Apple and Google in-app purchase systems) manages your subscription status and purchases. We do not see or store your full payment card information.
- Software development, maintenance, support, and security contractors help us build, troubleshoot, secure, and support Eirene. These contractors may access personal information, including chat, journal, prayer, reflection, grief, faith, or mental-health content, only as needed to provide services to Eirene.
- Marketing analytics, attribution, and ad measurement (currently AppsFlyer as our mobile measurement partner, and ad or attribution partners such as TikTok, Meta, and Apple Search Ads when we run or measure campaigns with them) receives limited event data, such as app install or launch, registration, tutorial completion, trial, and subscription events, plus limited device, attribution, and advertising identifiers where permitted by your device settings and applicable law. We do not share chat, journal, prayer, reflection, grief, faith, or mental-health content with advertising or marketing platforms. Where identifiers are sent for attribution, we use privacy-protective measures such as hashing where supported.
Voice features
If you use voice features, Eirene may process your microphone audio to provide speech-to-text and text-to-speech features. Audio you record is sent through our server to OpenAI to transcribe your speech. We do not store raw voice recordings in Firestore after transcription, but the resulting transcript may be stored and used like other chat or reflection content. Text sent for voice playback may also be sent to OpenAI to generate spoken audio.
We require our service providers and marketing attribution partners to use personal information only to provide services to us and not to sell it or use it for their own independent purposes. Other limited disclosures
- For research purposes, in de-identified or aggregated form, and not in a way that reasonably identifies you.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
- Where required by law or legal process.
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
Consumer Health Data Notice
This notice describes how Eirene handles "consumer health data" as that term is defined under state laws including Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws in other states.
Eirene is not intended to collect or process Protected Health Information as defined by HIPAA, and Eirene is not intended to be a HIPAA-covered medical service. State "consumer health data" laws apply to a broader category of health-related information than HIPAA, and this notice describes Eirene's practices under those state laws.
For users in Canada, similar protections apply under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
Categories of consumer health data we may receive
When you choose to share this information through Eirene, we may receive chat messages with Eirene, journal entries, prayers, reflections, grief disclosures, faith disclosures, mental-health disclosures, voice audio used for voice features, transcripts from voice features, and related app-interaction content. You decide what you write or say; we do not require you to share any specific content.
Sources of this information
We receive consumer health data directly from you through our chat, journal, voice, and devotional or reflection features, during account setup, and through any support communications you initiate.
Purposes for which we use this information
- Provide the Eirene features you request, including chat, journaling, voice features, devotionals, and breath prayer.
- Transcribe voice input and generate spoken audio when you use voice features.
- Generate AI responses, reflections, and scripture recommendations.
- Remember and build on prior interactions, where supported by the features you use.
- Monitor service quality and safety.
- Debug and improve the Service.
- Provide customer support.
- Comply with applicable law.
With whom we share this information
As described in Section D, we share consumer health data with operational service providers only as needed to provide Eirene. Specifically:
- Google Cloud / Firebase - hosting, storage, and authentication.
- Expo and Expo Application Services - app build, distribution, update delivery, and technical app infrastructure.
- OpenAI (and, where used in the future, Anthropic) - generate AI responses, reflections, scripture recommendations, speech-to-text transcription, and text-to-speech audio.
- LangSmith by LangChain - AI quality, safety, and debugging.
- RevenueCat, Apple, and Google - subscription and payment metadata only.
- Software development, maintenance, support, and security contractors - product operation, debugging, support, security, and maintenance.
Marketing attribution and ad measurement partners, including AppsFlyer, TikTok, Meta, and Apple Search Ads where configured, receive limited event data such as app install or launch, registration, tutorial completion, trial, and subscription events, plus limited device, attribution, and advertising identifiers where permitted. They do not receive chat messages, journal entries, prayers, reflections, grief disclosures, faith disclosures, or mental-health disclosures.
Your rights
You may request to access, delete, or correct your consumer health data, or exercise other applicable privacy choices, by contacting us at privacy@eireneapp.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

You have choices about how we collect, store, and disclose your information:
- Update your privacy settings through your account.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Access and correct your personal information.
- Contact us to exercise privacy choices, including opt-out rights where applicable.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or Utah, you may have additional privacy rights under state law. Depending on your state, these may include the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising or sale or sharing of personal information. Canadian users. If you are located in Canada, you have rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. These rights include the ability to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal limits. Data Security, Storage, and Retention
Your data is stored primarily in the United States. Authorized service providers, contractors, and subprocessors may access or process personal information from other countries only as needed to provide services to Eirene. This may include access from countries outside the United States, such as Pakistan. We use reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal information.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide Eirene, maintain your account and subscription, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve or secure the Service. If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information in accordance with applicable law, subject to limited exceptions such as legal, security, backup, or fraud-prevention needs.
Services Not Intended for Minors
Our services are not intended for or directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
